Look above, the sky looks dull,
Showers of snow falling like a spell.
Leaves of green give space for whites so cold,
Roads lead nowhere, unlike what she had told.
One little flake stuck out,
In a heap of snow she was alone.
How could she find her loved one,
Who had promised her they'd fall together?
I walk across the snowy driveway,
The chimney tops are puffing in black.
Where can I find that melodious voice
In a town where all doors are shut?
Then came the yellow sun,
Proudly did the snowflakes weep.
Into a stream of water the snow melts,
And in a small puddle the two meet as water.
With the gentle breeze came the poetic touch,
To the skylark's song the doors open.
The hardened heart melted into gentle tears,
And it was under the blue sky where I met her.
